Liverpool John Lennon Airporti is eight miles from the city and can be reached by bus or taxi.

Manchester Airport can be reached by bus or train.

There is a ferry service between Liverpool and Dublin, and between Birkenhead (across the Mersey River from Liverpool) to Belfast.

By coach

National Express and Megabus are among the providers of coach services between Liverpool and many destinations in the United Kingdom. The National Express terminal in Liverpool is approximately ten minutes walking from the University.

By car

We advise all attendees to use public transport. Merseytravel operates a number of services around the city, and the region, and to and from Liverpool Aiport. A day bus pass can be purchased on board for around 5£, depending on the areas. A "MyTicket" flat daily rate of £2.20 is available to students and young persons. Weekly passes are also available.
